Alvin Historical Museum: Riding the Memories of AstroWorld

Opening July 5th, the Alvin Historical Museum invites visitors to explore the history of Houston’s beloved AstroWorld, the iconic amusement park that operated from 1968 to 2005. The exhibit showcases memorabilia collected by AstroWorld historian Donald Hayes, along with items contributed by former employees and fans.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The AstroWorld exhibit will be on display through September 6, 2025.
