Historic home of the nation's oldest major soft drink - Dr Pepper! Nonprofit organization telling the story of Dr Pepper and the soft drink industry. Located in the original 1906 Dr Pepper bottling plant building. Not owned or operated by Dr Pepper.

Dr Pepper was first called "Waco" because it could not be found outside of that city's limits.

The Dr Pepper Museum is located in Waco, Texas. With over 300,000 objects, the Museum houses the best collection of soft drink memorabilia in the world.

The building opened as a museum on May 11, 1991, exactly 38 years after a deadly tornado destroyed downtown. A second building, with a real 1950s soda fountain and a fake bottling assembly line, opened in 2016.

Today it is the Museum’s largest artifact and a tribute to the imagination and talent that fueled Dr Pepper’s success throughout the years.
