Hockey is coming back to the Houston area. The North Iowa Bulls are relocating to Richmond and will become the Houston Bulls starting with the 2026–27 season.
They’ll play at the new Deep South Ice & Sports Center, a 150,000-square-foot complex opening in 2026 with an 1,800-seat arena, suites, volleyball courts, and a second ice rink. The team will compete in the NAHL South Division and bring more than 30 games a season to Fort Bend County.
The move highlights the continued growth of hockey in Southeast Texas, with plans to build a strong fan experience and connect with the local community.
