The second edition of Pearland Restaurant Weeks (PRW) presents new menus and fan favorite-dishes from 25 participating restaurants spanning cuisines and price-points across the city of Pearland.
In partnership with Harold Wong of Pearland’s Boiling Dragon and Phaedra Cook of Houston Food Finder, the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) premiered Pearland Restaurant Weeks in 2022 with 16 participating restaurants. “Not only has the restaurant count grown since last year’s event, but a wider range of cuisines will be represented which is an exciting evolution,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, Executive Director of the PCVB. “We’ve also extended the event to the entire month of November, allowing more time for visitors and residents to dine from the Pearland Restaurant Weeks menus.”
Diners can order from either prix fixe menus or purchase PRW meal bundles, depending on the establishment. “Themeal bundles include delicious offerings like a burger, side of fries, and draft beer from Hometown Sports Bar and Grill or two of Central Texas Barbecue’s can't-miss sandwiches and accompanying sides,” Rebekah Burns, Marketing Manager for the PCVB, explained. “While other participating restaurants have curated three-coursed menus with plentiful options; Iguanas Ranas Cantina and Magnolia Cajun Comfort are just two examples.”
From rich seafood gumbo and a unique high tea experience to traditional lunch thalis and Instagram-worthy charcuterie boards; there’s something for every palate and personality on this year’s Pearland Restaurant Weeks spread.
A portion of each PRW meal sold will be donated to the Pearland Neighborhood Center, a staple organization for many Brazoria County families whether they’re looking for utility assistance, essential food and home items, or help in making the holidays a little brighter. “We are thrilled and honored to be able to help showcase and promote local, small businesses during this slower season we are all experiencing,” said Wong. “At the same time, we’re able to give back to the community, which is what Pearland Restaurant Weeks is about at the end of the day.”
