Bebu Asian Kitchen in League City, Texas

For the past three months, I've had numerous people tell me to try a little place in League City called Bebu Asian Kitchen and I'm so glad I listened!

Bebu means ”big baby” in Vietnamese and after tasting the food this ”big baby” had a hard time putting down all the delicious food!

I started off with the GPS Banh mi which consists of grilled pork, cucumber, pickled carrots, daikon (white radish), fresh Jalapeño, cilantro and garlic aioli served on a delicious flaky, soft piece of french bread. The grilled pork was grilled to perfection and it was a great start to my meal!

I then set my sights on the Bao Sandwiches. These little sandwiches are served on a fluffy steamed bun and they are fantastic! I ordered the Peep, Babe and Mama.

The Peep was filled with grilled chicken, cucumber, lettuce, scallion and nutty hoisin sauce. All I can say is WOW! The combination of flavors was the perfect mix of salty and sweet.

The Babe combined grilled pork, cucumber, pickled carrots, daikon, cilantro and creamy jalapeño sauce. This sandwich was my favorite of the three! The creamy jalapeño sauce really gives the sandwich a fresh and spicy kick. The last of my bao’s was The Mama which had Char Siu Pork, cucumber, pickled carrots, daikon with cilantro and spicy mayo. The spicy mayo made this sandwich stand out because it went so well with the vegetables and and char siu pork.

Each of the these sandwiches we're packed full of bold flavors and the soft buns made these little gems a delicious way to enjoy different flavors for a small price. I ended my meal with the pork fries that we're recommended to me by one of their employees. The crispy fries were topped with grilled pork, sautéed onions, fresh jalapeños, cilantro, spicy mayo and creamy jalapeno sauce. I wish all fries came with these toppings! They were delicious and full of flavor and I couldn’t stop eating them!

My stop was well worth it and I will be back sooner than later! Before I left I got to meet the owners and the staff and they were some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I can't wait to go back and try the Pho which is only served on Saturday’s. The next time you are in the League City a stop into Bebu Asian Kitchen is a must! #leaguecitytx
